The Reid family has operated a black commercial-based cow herd for over 40 years. Over the past 15 years we have developed our purebred Maine-Anjou and Shorthorn Herds.
Sandy manages the farming and purebred herd operation of 100 plus cows on 500 acres of farm land. We always have a good selection of heifers and young bulls for sale at the farm. Show and Sale Results:
Sandy selects a few calves to show each year. The RK breeding program has certainly proven that our cattle perform as well on-farm as they do in the show ring. We have had Premier Breeder and Exhibitor at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair for 10 years with our show herd of Maine Anjou.
